CatBee collection for kids x amigurumei collaboration

A couple of months ago, I was given the wonderful opportunity to collaborate on a dream project.

The Catbee collection for kids launches today in Singapore and if you’ve been following my Instagram @amigurumei, you would’ve caught buzz of the teensy little Catbee amigurumi dolls I made for them!

Over 10 years ago, when I was a copywriter finding my way in the advertising world, I was fortunate enough to have met Sa’ad Hussein.

He’s the amazing dad behind the Catbee brand, which features the 100% special artwork of his youngest daughter, Aisha.

I can’t begin to express how happy I am that he has included me and the boys in this magical journey.

Here are my little Sosukes, modelling their top picks! (Don’t you just love our au naturale wall?)

If you’re in Singapore, please head over to this place!

And if you want to make a little amigurumi Catbee of your own, here’s the FREE pattern: iamcatbee.pdf

Our warmest hugs and love to the Catbee brand and Sa’ad’s family — wish we could be there to witness the launch of a beautiful family adventure. For now I shall have to contend with running after my boys across the shores in KL!
