A closer look at mama hen and baby chicks…

Amidst the yarn, hooks and baskets of crafting tools, this is what my life looks like now.

Christmas morning, every day!

These pictures were taken by my dear friend Samuel Ong about a week before Christmas 2016. Every year, Sam goes around looking for cute and cuddly talents to pose for his Christmas project and I made it to the list thanks to the twins!

I just realised I haven’t had the time to share updated photos of my growing-too-fast boys, who just turned one last month!

So before I forget to make another post, here are more photos of us 🙂

No Jacob, don’t eat the giftwrap!

*The top photo made it into The Star main news page on Christmas Day 2016. The boys were also baptised on the same day! Double blessings, for sure 🙂

FREE HEN & CHICKS AMIGURUMI PATTERN: TORI & TAMA-GO

Hello!

It’s been too long, too long! A big hug to everyone who’s been following my posts and waiting for more amiguruMEI adventures to come.

Being a first-time mom and to twins has been a roller coaster ride…sweet, exciting, frightful with a tang of adrenaline rush. My boys have finally turned a year old! So mommy thinks it’s time that she gave some loving back to her blog as well…

Chinese New Year has just begun and to celebrate this special occasion, I’d like to share an absolutely free, super-kawaii amigurumi pattern right here, right now!

Please meet Tori:

Yes, the two little cuties behind are her twin boys, Tama and Go.

dsc_5253

Who absolutely love following Mama wherever she goes.

dsc_5224

There are times when Tori feels overstretched.

And then there are times she wished she had a few more tako hands to get the boys out of (more) mischief.

And more mischief.

But Tori knows to take things slow. And to enjoy every moment before the boys are grown up all too fast!

That being said, if she ever needs a break…

dsc_5277

She knows there’s always another Mama willing to take over, if only for just a little while.

dsc_5288

Bet the boys would behave after that.

I hope you’ll enjoy the pattern! Tori and Tama-Go were designed in collaboration with Craft Passion, who spent the past year knitting awesome Fair Isle beanies, pullovers, leg warmers–the whole works!
