Questions, questions
1. Don’t worry! Photos can be from your phone, tablet or camera. I would prefer clear, sharp pictures but if shaky hands are your thing, send them over anyway!
2. Eligible participants can be from anywhere around the world. If you can’t be in the United States for now, why not get a friend from there to snap a picture for you?
3. Availability of the book — For now, my publishers at Quirk Books only have word that the book will be available in the United States bookstores. For my United Kingdom friends, the books will arrive in-store Oct 9. Yay!
4. For fellow Hello Kitty Crochet fans outside of the United States, please bear with us as we wait for upcoming news on the availability of the book elsewhere. In the mean-time, you can still order online via the book cover link on the top right sidebar of this page. For e-books, you can try here.

I’d really like to participate but I don’t live in the U.S. and I don’t know anyone there. Why does it need to be in the U.S.? 😦 I can assure you that we have Hello Kitty in our bookstores as well and she looks the same!
Hi there Shia! I understand your frustrations! I wish I could have control of where the books are available but I have to leave it in the hands of my publishers and Sanrio for now. Rest assured I’m definitely working hard at getting the books all around the world as everyone hopes. If you do see Hello Kitty Crochet books in any of the bookstores around you, let me know!
oh this sounds like such fun!! I would love to participate, but I do not have a bookstore in my city. I pre ordered my book from Amazon 🙂 So hopefully I will have it by this weekend ( Hopefully sooner)!! maybe just maybe one store here will get the book.

The contest is open to anyone from around the world, but since the book is now only available in the bookstores in the US and Canada, the contest will focus on those two places for now 🙂 if there’s anywhere else that carries my book, you’re more than welcome to send over a pic too!
